  Where to go in Mazatlan
Mazatlan offers 80 miles of coastline, where the Isla de Piedra, Isla de Pajaros, Isla de Venados and Isla de Chivos are. The town of Mazatlan one of the largest ports in the Pacific coast is located south of the state of Sinaloa, 212 km southeast of Culiacan.

Known as the "Pearl of the Pacific" for its beautiful beaches and rich marine fauna, which have become host to major fishing tournaments like the Bisbee's Billfish Classic, the destination combines traditional architecture of its historic center , known as Old Mazatlan, where you can admire the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and walk its streets decorated with beautiful old buildings of the nineteenth century, with modern hotels and restaurants that make the spectacular Golden Zone, equipped with more than 10 km beautiful beaches, such as Playa Norte, Playa Gaviotas and Playa Deer-ideal for surfing, diving and sport fishing for marlin and sailfish.

You will also find sites with lush natural resources, such as the Cerro del Creston, where you can enjoy activities as ecotourism and climbing, reaching its peak, where a lighthouse beacon regarded as the second course, after the Rock of Gibraltar and great golf courses, overlooking the sea and two marinas.

Playa Cerritos
The sand of this beach is clear and has a low concentration of hotels and other infrastructure,

Isla de Pajaros
La Isla de Pajaros is a sanctuary for various species
of birds such as pelicans, roseate spoonbills, gulls, ospreys, cormorants, eagles caracara, kingfisher,
black and white ibis.

Isla de Venados
It is a very attractive group of islands for all visitors, rest and get away for a moment from the noise of the city. Many animal and plant species live here.

Isla de Piedra

Sport fishing is very popular in Los Cabos. Fishing Hot Spots
are Punta Gorda and the Gordo Banks, the Golden Gate
Bank and the Jaime Bank.

Whale watching can be done in winter, when gray whales come to Los Cabos to give birth and spend time with their young.
